Tswalu is South Africa's largest fenced game reserve covering an area of over 114,000 hectares. It is bisected by a public road which enables the two parts to be separately managed. Wild Dogs, Cheetah, Giraffe and Black Rhino are confined to one side, whilst Lions and White Rhino are on the other side.
A number of species, particularly antelopes, such as Roan, Sable and Sprinbok are introduced and not native to the area.
This park contains many Pangolin, one of the reasons that we chose it, but although we saw fresh footprints, no Pangolin!
